Should FFXII been call a different name?

Playing and beaten the game already...make me wonder that the name "Final Fantasy" doesnt aply to the game at all..  As mostly every knows that the games story line is like star wars...  If i would to give FFXII a new name....i would of call it Kingdom Wars...what do u all think...

I believe FFs games and all RPGs games should took place in a epic...time frame..

It's not Final Fantasy because of whats in the game, it's Final Fantasy because of who made it. But, I see where you're coming from. And I think it's just a new direction to take the franchise in, it doesnt mean they have to change the whole name.

Final Fantasy is one of the most ironic franchises in gaming.  I wonder if the original creators back in th eighties thought the first Final Fantasy would be final?

I don't see how XII is anything like Star Wars other than a couple battle cinemas.  Hell, Star Wars has more story than XII does lol.  Anyways... No, I think the name is fine.
