yes of coures the ps3 yet is still, im afraid to say that no average young joe can afford it, so untill they stop making games for ps2 it will still rock and i think the huge library they have will keep ps2 fans for more than 10 moe years
There's literally 100's of titles still being made for the ps2, that are set to be released by next year. it's amazing how the ps2 is still doing. I figured once the PS3 came out, the PS2 would be no more. But there is still a huge team of developers making games for it. I've never really been so excited to be playinga system in a long time, cuz there is already a great deal of games out for it, and they are continuing to be produced on a regular basis. As long as people keep buying games, they will keep making them.
Yes I think that the PS2 will be going strong for a long time because of all the games out and that are coming out for the PS2 and the fact that the PS3 is a little above most people's gaming budgets right now.
The ps2 is still standing strong because not everyone can get the latest consoles but there are still some good games coming for the ps2 so until ps2 stops making games then there will be a lot of people still with ps2's. I am always going to keep my ps2 and games because i am still going to play it:)

Hey, I'm 36 and I can easily afford a PS3, but I am not buying one yet because I just went and bought about 15 great PS2 games because I was sooooooo behind the times. PS2 RULES!!!!
