I just turned on my PS2 and was playing Def Jam fight for NY. And i went to load my profile and it said my file was corrupted. How does this happen and what do I do?

You probably turned of your PS2 as it was saving. Is there an auto-save feature on that game? If so, then you probably turned it off as it was auto-saving. It happens all the time with my friend and his DDR games. There is nothing you can do.paranoiasurvivawhat he said
Yea, its a piece of crap. I only buy sony memory cardswould it make any diffarence if I said it was a MAX 64 MB memory card?

all the max memory cards are garbage. most of the max32's wouldn't write over 8 megs. i had mine replaced 3 times by the company before i got one that worked, then that one stopped working altogether. user reviews suggest this is a common problem, so i would guess that the new ones are no better.would it make any diffarence if I said it was a MAX 64 MB memory card?

yea u can do something it happened to me with madden all i did was pull up all the content of my memory card and there was an icon that said corrupted data i just deledted that
Unfortunately your save game is lost forever. Once the data is corrupted there is no way to fix it.
As said above, this can happen if your turn off the power (or remove the memory card) while a save or load is taking place - hence the reason why every game has a warning telling you not to. But most likely it is because you have an unofficial memory card. As annoying as it is to only have 8mb on each card cause Sony doesn't make them any bigger, thats what you have to put up with. I'm personally on my 3rd memory card and i don't keep all of my save games either.
Damn games like GT4 and Pro Evolution Soccer 5 that take up so much memory!!
