It's unabashedly a traditional 2D fighter. There's not really anything beyond the typical fighter modes (Arcade, Survival, etc.) but the fighting engine itself is very good. Worth really depends on how much $30 is to you, how much you like fighters and the games you have. If you're lacking a good fighting game, it seems like a very good fit.
