i felt that the story is pretty good, but then again im early in the game
but so far, yea i would have to say that FFXII is fun and addicting, the battle system is a nice change and theres PLENTY of tasks to complete throughout the game. If u want a long RPG, FFXII is for u.
The game would be prefect if they had let us customize are controls. I play inverted my entire life (up being down and down being up) on the control scheme of any game. Not being able to adjust this really made it hard for me to even begin this game because my brain just doesn't operate un-inverted anymore.
I was disappointed with just about every aspect of the game. It's the first Final Fantasy I haven't bothered to finish, which is saying a lot, because I've played all of them.
The story is not very grasping but as far as gameplay is concerned it flows very well. The new battle system leaves the old one battered and dead onthe side of the road. Plenty of side missions and tasks to complete. Overall it's pretty good.
