ive yet to start grandia properly i put it on watch the intro movie for what seemed like forever then turned it off to go on my xbox does the rest of the game have loads of fmv in it?

Grandia III is such a strange game, slow beginning, useless plot, one of the worst endings I have ever come across in any game and subpar character development. On the other hand the battle system is so entertaining it kept me glued to the game for a good 50 hours.
wow nice sig from TOA, uforunately I have to say I haven't gotten far enough into Grandia 3 to become obsessed. I played about 10 hours and loved the battle system but I got it used just shortly before Rogue Galaxy came out and so I was hopping form game to game after that and now I'm hooked on Odin Sphere, I can only hope I get back to it shortly because it and about 4 other great rpgs are sitting idly wanting ot be played as they keep popping up in my head as of late.
This is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I bought it when it came out, and was obsessed with it right away, once I'm finished with the games I'm playing now, I'll probably go back and play it again.

Ya, exactly how I feel. The battle system is great especially with the aerial attacks added. Another thing I didn't like about the game was the dull soundtrack.
