I am going to get aps2 soon and i am wondering if grand turismo 4 is a good choice. I played 1 and 2 and they were pretty good. So can anybody tell me if to get it or not?

Definetly get it, it's easily the best racer on the PS2, with over 700 cars, 50 tracks (100 is you count reverse) and an amazingly deep career mode, you'll be playing it for months. Plus it's very cheap now (you could probably get it for less than $15 used) it's a must buy.

GRAN Turismo 4 is a great game. I bought it at full price and it was worth every penny.

So true, I bought mine, the disc broke so I bought it again recently. Im still battling through the tests (the nurbur... tests on the I-A license is damn hard and tiresome, I rather make other races)

Now Im extremely exited for the GT 5 inner view. The inner view was my fav thing on Vigilante 8 and now on Dirt

For sure get it. It looks amazing, has so much stuff in it, and is incredibly realistic. The cars are harder to handle than in other racing games, but I like that, because it adds more of a challenge.

if you want a simulation racing game on the PS2, Gran Turismo4 is your only choice. If you liked 1 and 2, you'll definately like 3 and 4.

personally, i found the license tests too dang hard on GT4. I had fun at first, but the physics were just too uptight for my taste.

Great game.

Easily one of PS2's best. Great graphics, huge career mode etc.

But buy it only if you want a realistic racer [at times, extremely frustrating]

some of the best graphics on the ps2. I'm mad that I don't have it anymore.
