I played the first and finished it very quickly and now I'm thinking of getting the second one, but only if its longer then the first. So for anyone who's beaten it: is it longer? thx
I've completed both but did the first one quite a while ago but I think I found GoW2 a bit longer than the first. To be honest I didn't enjoy the second as much as the first but it's definitely still worth playing. It's better than most other games on any console.

well if u like the first i strongly recommend you buy the second one its an amazing experience with more boss battles, more weapons, more replay value,its an all around epic and great experience but it depends on how you play the game if you go around searching for secrets it will obviously take longer(and trust me there are plenty of secrets) if you just run through not searching for much it will bea much shorter game

If you have completed GoW then I recommend you start GoWII on hard. That way the game will take around 15-16 hours to complete.
GoW2 took me maybe a couple hours more than first. Time flew by much faster in Gow2, than it did in the first game. Maybe I had more fun with it cause it only took a couple days to go through it... the first one I had to take a lot of breaks from it or I got bored.
