Kick his ass, when the platform your standing on goes down into the lave jump on to the wall in front of you and wait till it comes back up. Then kick his ass some more.
I just beat it a couple of hours ago its awesome. anyways to answer question you have to jump on the wall when he knock the rocks off of it you can climb it
I hope I'm no where near the ending. I want to enjoy this game. It's been a long time since I've sat in the house like a zombie til I beat a game in one day.

Well its my spring break and I'am im partly grounded so my mom let me play it for the rest of the spring break so I tried my hardest to finish it and I did it on easy I'am going through all the difficulties thats what I did in GOW 1
I've had almost an entire week's worth of vacation from work. And I beat GOW2 while flipping back and forth between the NCAA tournament. It only took me 15:33:14 to beat the game. I'll have to see if I can do it faster the next time around before I take it back to Gamestop and reserve MGS4.
*curse!* im already at the part where after i beated Mother of Medusa *what i called her* and my cd suddenly stuck... my ps2 cant read the disc! gonna change it today! *curse!*
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I have to wait two to three years before I can kick Hades butt! That being said, I found the ending satisfying. I've read people are mixed on it, but it certainly gives a good a nugget: the whole "Darth Vader" complex.
Wow! You're a certified addict gamer! I would never beat any game in less than 3 weeks. I beat GoW in 11 hours but it took me 3 weeks because I don't play short games everyday.

If you see wings under the bridge and it dosn't cut to a movie sequence then it sounds like you have the Icarus glitch. I don't know if there is a solution except for getting a new copy.

Sweetness, I beat it in 4 days, but I really didn't play it too hardcore until the 4th day hehe. Man all of those glitches are crap, good thing my gamestop already knew about em all and said just to bring it back and they'd replace it with a new one if there was a glitch.
In my last save just after beating Zeus, I clocked in at 6 hours in a span of a ten days, but my cd skipped during that cut scene with Gaia. I don't ever play a game for no more than 8 hours straight (I have a life outside of video games). It was a breeze to get through. I found all of the Gorgon eyes and Feathers. I didn't find that one chest of health upgrade to even out my health bar with my magic.Â
