Ok I want to keep this forum popular, that way GameSpot won't take the PS2 link off the top of the site (like they didxBix and GC). So, I made this thread, that I hope will be popular. I don't know, it may seem stupid, but it can't hurt to try (even though I don't think they'd take the link off until they stop making PS2 games).

So what was your first PS2 game and why did you choose it? Mine was Tekken Tag Tournament, I chose it because I loved Tekken 3 and it was already down to $20. It was probably in my top 5 favorite PS2 games, so I guess I made a good choice.

I recieved my ps2 in december 2003. I was about 11 at the time and my first game was Smackdown!:Here Comes The Pain. Then a month later I bought Kingdom Hearts. It was a really good game that got me hooked on the series.

My first game was Kingdom Hearts. It was part of the reason I wanted a PS2. Why did I want KH? It just seemed like a fun game, and I hadn't even played an FF game yet. Well, unless you count the snowboard minigame in FF7 as playing FF. I now own every KH game twice, so I'd say I made a very good choice. I got it together with my PS2 for my 13th birthday in December 2002. Later that month I got Ratchet & Clank for Christmas. A game that I also wanted to have because I thought it looked awesome, and I was a big fan of the Spyro games at the time.

I got my PS2 in December 02' for my birthday. Since my parents wouldn't get me any of the expensive games that cost $50, I got Tekken: Tag Tournament for $20.

lol I fianlly got my ps2 like about a year and a half ago and I got Midnight club III, Final Fantasy 10, and Devil May Cry 3 the same day to make sure I had a spread out, FFX is probaly my true first one though as it's what I wanted a ps2 for since I played it at a friends like when it was first released.

Red faction - amazing at the time.

When I first got my PS2 in March of this year, I didn't get a game with it. I ended up borrowing my friend's games, Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Twisted Metal: Black, and Soul Caliber III. The first PS2 game I owned would be Kingdom Hearts II.

I got my ps2 on december 2000 and I got both tekken tag tournment and ssx1 on the same day I got my ps2.

I bought my PS2 off of eBay, and it came with 4 games: Final Fantasy X, Dead to Rights, Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and GTA: San Andreas. I'm a big RPG fan, so FFX went in first. Actually, it was the ONLY of those games I ever played. I lent San Andreas to a friend, who discovered scratches that made it unplayable, I lent Mortal Kombat to another and never got it back, and Dead to Rights... well, I just never played Dead to Rights. It's actually sitting righ tin front of me, neglected, heh.

Ah, taking me back a couple years to December '04, My first game, was a bundle of Half-Life an Zone Of The Enders, but I opened ZoE first, so i'll say that was my first game :)

I don't remember the exact date when I got my PS2, but I bought Zone Of The Enders and Onimusha. Onimusha was the first game I played, and I definitely didn't feel I wasted my money. Then I played ZOE, and was equally impressed.

spiderman......iuno i was in 6th grade or was it 7th...i remember my cousin talkin about if he should get spiderman the game and i wanted to simply impress him so i bought it as my first game so i could show it to him, bad decision lol

My first Ps2 game was Jak And Daxter. The happy hours i used to spend on there. I was about eight, it was christmas and my dad teased me by giving me a empty game box and i nearly started crying. Happy days.

I got mine at summer 2001. My game was...Dynasty Warriors 2!! Seriously. I was a freaking retard back then. I was 9 then and I loved beat-em-ups so I got the game and actually liked it.

The very first PS2 game i got was transformers, no, not the new one based on the movie, which by the way if you haven't played the game, dont worry your not mising much. I bought it at the same time i bought my PS2, so that was my first true game. Don't really know why i bought it, but its a fun game and i still like going back through the game and replaying levels and finding stuff that i have missed. I bought it with my PS2 back in oh, i think 2004, and yeah, im still finding stuff. On that same day i also bought SOCOM 1. I bought it because others i knew said it was good. So, thats my story and im sticking to it.
