deus ex ive seen it before but lately i see thedeus exnames in magazine saying it was a great game so i was wondering to get it but i dont understand why is it so great or is it not
The game has a very deep and branching storyline, weapon modding, character upgrades, absurd levels of interaction, solid characters, long game, etc... dude, Deux Ex is by far the best F***in game ever made! AND YOU HAVEN't PLAYED IT!!! WTF!!!
Get Deus Ex and System Shock 2, they are two of the best if not THE BEST games ever made!
PC version of Deux Ex is better due to better loading times, minor gamplay tweaks and level design. I know because I got the PC and PS2 version due to the fact that the disc for the PC broke :(

Bioshock is going to follow Deus Ex and System Shock 2, into gaming history, you gota play it too!!!
The PS2 version is a pretty good game, but I'd suggest getting the original for your PC. The reason it was as highly praised as it was is due to its approach to FPS gaming. You're given a great deal of freedom with how you go about the game, and you can play through it again and again using different play styles and have a different experience each time because of it. You can be stealthy, or just run into rooms gunning people down, or you can focus on upgrading yourself to gain new abilities. If you're into that type of thing then you can do a lot worse than Deus Ex, many people consider it a classic.
I can't really say anything, because i hope to get the game for my birthday on the playstation 2. I have always wanted it, it looks awesome. You should get it as well.
It is areally good game, but itwould be much better if you could purchase it for the PC.
On a slightly related note,one thing that stood out in my mind for that game was that the main character walks so damn loud. It's like he has wooden clogs for shoes or somethingand gave me a headache.
