How do I get this to work on my Win 7/64 PC? The drive that came with it is for Xp only...

Should automatically install the driver when you plug it in - mine did, at least.

Mine did not. Are you using Win7 - 64 bit? If so can you please go to the device properties and tell me the name and version of the driver you are using? That would be awsome if you could!

Ok I spoke too soon. That is the driver for thr wireless controller, not the Gaming Receiver that lets you use a regualar 360 controller.. Its still nto working.

Hmm. On the official support page, it says that you need to select "Gaming Receiver" under products on the download page. I don't see the gaming receiver in the drop down. You may want to contact Microsoft and see if they can get the software for you. It looks like it's been removed from their site for some reason.

Can do:

Wish I could add more. I'm running Windows 7 Professional (64bit) and didn't do anything other than plug the receiver in and wait for Windows to install everything automatically.

Yeah I know, but that's the correct driver. If its not working either he is doing something wrong, or the problem is elsewhere.

you should plug it in and it should install the drivers, if not get it off the ms website http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=Gaming
