How do I get this to work on my Win 7/64 PC? The drive that came with it is for Xp only...

Should automatically install the driver when you plug it in - mine did, at least.DJ_LaeMine did not. Are you using Win7 - 64 bit? If so can you please go to the device properties and tell me the name and version of the driver you are using? That would be awsome if you could!
Hmm. On the official support page, it says that you need to select "Gaming Receiver" under products on the download page. I don't see the gaming receiver in the drop down. You may want to contact Microsoft and see if they can get the software for you. It looks like it's been removed from their site for some reason.

Can do:
Wish I could add more. I'm running Windows 7 Professional (64bit) and didn't do anything other than plug the receiver in and wait for Windows to install everything automatically.
The wireless controller means the receiver, I use it all the time when installing it on W7 machines and it works fine.
Just to give you a direct link, HERE

He already tried that and it didn't work.
Yeah I know, but that's the correct driver. If its not working either he is doing something wrong, or the problem is elsewhere. Please Log In to post.
