It looks really good, but games almost always look better than they actually are. No Force Unleashed on PC is a loss, but is it a great loss? I've seen nothing to convince me so far.

Playing as Darth Vader in a sinle player game (FPS/TPS) has never been done before...but from the gameplay I've seen its going to be nothing short of EPIC. All we can do now is pray that they will port it to the PC. (However, I do own a x360 and a 28' LCD TV...but on the consoles its going to be doumbed down so much I rather wait a few years to see if it will get ported...I'm sure others feel the same way.
Oh, ****. That looks really, really good. If only they could make Kotor 3 with combat like that. Damn, I love Star Wars. Gets me excited every time, hopefully they'll deliver this time.

LA confuse me. They've been mostly know for their great PC only games(Dark Forces, Grim Fandango) and they just take a highly hyped SW game away from the system and have no problem about it?

Looks like I'll have to dust off my xbox 360 now that I will actually have something to play on it. That is unless its just another overhyped average game. Sure hope not.
It's weird they would make it console only considering what they could do with it on PC. They've had so many Star Wars FPS games for PC.. wonder why they decided to make this console only.. well.. at the moment they havn't mentioned a PC version.. but they havn't said it wouldn't happen either.. *crosses fingers*
Meh. Lucasarts wants to chastise me by not releasing the game on PC and citing "rampant piracy" as the reasoning... then it is their loss to lose me as a customer, avid Star Wars fan and owner of eight Star Wars titles.
I don't even think the game looks that impressive. On PC they would have access to much higher levels of physics processing capability... making the possibilities even higher.
Can you think of a (serious) reason as to why they would skip this great platform of ours? I could understand if it was just 360 and ps3 only... biggest_loser

Alongs the physics are relevant for general use then I don't see the problem really.

Plate licker, not only did you missed out on a great 2007 but you also going to miss out on a great 2008. Star Wars the force unleashed is one of them.

No biggie for me. Wasn't that interested in it and theres more than enough games coming out this year, next and many I haven't played yet to keep me happy.

actually it has, get battlefront 2, there are a few missions where you get to play as darth vader and its a TPS/FPS...all u gota do then is stick in a cheat and make it permanent for the rest of the level :P
also, i believe you could play as the jedi's in multiplayer...

Or you could just get Soul Calibur 4 and play as Darth or maybe even Yoda! :D

Or get any of the previous Star Wars games on PC and download one of the thousands of Darth Vader skins... :|
The only things, so far, this game has going for it (based on what I have seen) are:
1. Nice visuals 2. Nice physics (they seem a bit exagerated if you ask me) 3. The Star Wars franchise 4. And a whole mess of hype
Many many many games have had this before and have failed (Daikatana, anyone?). The fact that its being made for console lessens my expectations for it as well...I think people are going to be disappointed with a six-hour, pretty game and they will eat it up because "slamming people with force push is so damn cool".

*I mean, the game looks like a magic show. if you stop staring at the dangling troopers in mid air and the razzle dazzle and look at what else is going on it is pretty lame how the AI reacts and stuff like that.
