[QUOTE="LUK3isH3RE"]Will it run significantly better than my old card (it was only 128 MB) ?

I used to play it on an old ATI radeon 9600pro 128 mb AGP, it ran great. (that was my old system)Â
What settings did you have it on (roughly), without having to sacrifice frame rate ect... ?
What kind of processor are you using? Anything less than a P4 1GHz and you'll have problems with framerates (the expansion pack is more graphics/processor intensive in the expansion for Outland). Note: up till Nov. 2006, I was using a Pentium III 600MHz, and that would definitely NOT cut it....Can somebody tell me how good WoW would look and how fast it would run on this GFX card, please? :

Umm... I think it's a 2 x Pentium (R) CPU 3.00GHz. Not certain though.

That setup should be good...my sis is running a laptop with 128MB of video RAM, and I was able to tweak her PC to get the framerates high enough... DL the 10 day trial & see, but everything should run fine. She's not too good with PC knowledge, so she had a ton of Automatic startup programs that I either disabled or put on manual. Plus she's running an Intel integrated graphics set, so I went into her properties, and created a memory footprint for her, and also enabled a 3D setting. Basically, it's like all PC games. Close all programs you do not need that are eating processor time. Best way is to go into the control panel, and look at the "Services" selection. You'll find a list of all of the things which are kicked off by your PC which you may not even know are automatic. If that fails (which it often does, b/c other programs force the issue), you'll have to track down what programs are kicking off the "junk" you don't need, and figure out how to disable them. I've gone as far as editing the registry for some of the MS stuff (they bury some of their communication programs pretty deep, IMO).OK. Thanks for the feedback.
When you say tweaked, how did you tweak it?

Medium to high, everything was on high except Terrain distance (real FPS killer)Â
Everything contributes to frame rates and settings. Just don't look at the video card look at your hard drive speed and connection type and mainly the number of processes running in the backgroud. Your card is a low end gaming card and i'm sure it will run fine but to optimize the cards performance the whole system has to be looked at. Specifially the number of processes currently running.
Just as a reference there are 17 processes running on a fresh install of the operating system
When I run guild wars I have max 18 processes.
a place like www.processlibrary.com will let you know what is currently running.
and should help your whole computer
a video card will react different in every system in terms of performance so basically you really have to toggle between the settings.Â
sure my friend plays that game with a 700$ pc not sure the specs it's funny cuz he lags so bad in the main citys XD i sometimes have to get on his account and turn in the quest for him in the main city :PXxSPAZxX
Lol. Thats pretty damn bad.

Far too many game players confuse VRAM as being a performance enhancement, which leads to a great deal of cheating on the part of video card marketers, who keep adding more onboard RAM, or more TurboCache capabilty, so they can name large (512 MBs for instance) numbers on the packaging.
There are X1300 and X1600 video cards, and even the lowly Geforce 7300 as well, with 512 MBs named on their boxes as if that helped a lot. Well, only for something slow, like a photo edit program, or a video editor. For games, the video card needs to have an "800" or higher as the last three digits in its name to actually use a lot of VRAM. An X1300 Pro is normally a 128 bit card, so it isn't going to regularly use more than 128 MBs of VRAM in a 3D animated game.
