So, I just rated my PC's performance through the Windows Experience assessment which as most of you probably know you can find in the control panel. I'm running Windows 8, and to me, I feel my score is too low. The rating system grades from 1.0 to 9.9, I got a 7.1, which, is on the high end, but still seems low to me. Specs in sig.

What are your throughts on your assessment method, and what are your scores?

Base score 7.1

Processor: 7.5

Ram: 7.5

Graphics: 7.1

Gaming Graphics 7.1

Hard Disk: 8.1(I have a Samsung 840 Pro SSD, REALLY? IT'S NOT 9.9?) And yes, my SSD is optimized, in AHCI mode, connected to a 6GB sata port, getting excellent read and write speeds in the Magician software.

My rig is in my sig and I score a 7.8, my AMD 5870 gets a 7.8 so your 570 GTX I would imagine should be a 7.9 - maybe something is wrong with it?

As long as it runs your games well I wouldn't really use the Windows Experience score as a true benchmark of your performance.

Windows experience is NOT a very good benchmark software. If your PC is performing well under other tasks, you shouldn't worry about it.

Since I'm not running Windows 8, where the scale changed, I grabbed this photo from the Internet, with people with your same "problem". See how this 3930K (which is a beast), got an 8.5.

The WEI is pointless, don't even look at it.

I dont think the WEI is really that important of a report card for your PC. I updated the drivers on a low profile GT610 in my wife's old media Pc, and her gpu score dropped .2 after the update. Lol
