it will play guildwars 2 on high.

heres some tips:

1) scratch the sound card it wont do much for your system at all

2) cut your ram down to 8gb no point in anything over 8 atm heck 6 is still not even being used by 99.99% of games

3) up the graphics card with the saving from steps 1 & 2

here im not even fing trying here we go:

msi twin frozr hd 7850 2gb. you get a free copy of sleeping dogs with it too :D

much better system after thos changes will max out @ a nice high fps number. as a guy who plays GuildWars 2 i get constant 60fps on the system below sometimes higher you will probably be in the 70fps range (assuming 1080p)

why do you want the sound card? it wont be a huge audio improvement to the one on the motherboard. and yeah 16gb ram does nothing for you. i really mean it you u like to see the 12gb benchmarks where ur fps goes down by fractions of an fps. i can happily bring them up. also now that i think on it the brand of RAM you chose isnt the greatest. to each his own and if you like samsung by all means but yeah if i was in your shoes i would get like some g.skill or some kingston.

Oh so the motherboard has its own sound card, i did not know that. I am having a bit problem this 12GB ram is that the motherboard or Memory I should have said this before but i have no idea how the internal parts work. i will more than likely take these part to someone who can put them together for me

RAM = random access memory its the computer memory sticks. your build lists a pair of 2 X 4 gb samsung kits, you only need one. getting more than that is basically wasting your money.

also you has a very tiny hard drive. i has 900gb of ahrd drive space. its pretty full ive used about half of it and i only have maybe 8 games installed atm

beyond that your set

The CPU comes with its own cooler which will be adequate unless you overclock, which would be silly with such a powerful CPU. You could save 25 bucks by using the stock cooler. That's still not much hard drive.

Stock coolers are terrible and loud. £20 for a 212+ is worth it for the noise reduction alone. TC if you have good headphones keep the soundcard, otherwise use onboard.
