Pentium 4 2.4GHz

1gig Ram

Nvidia 6400

Will it run Fear? At all?

I think that machine'll BARELY be able to run it, if at all. There's a demo for fear. Just try it out.

Barely, you'll need a new video card if you want to run it at mid-high.

You can, but it won't be pretty and performance will inevitably be rather questionable at times.

Thanks guys, its just he got an HD projector in a home cinema and we wanted to see what we could see... Doom 3 will have to surfice for now...

I never Heard of a 6400! are you shure thats what you have? as far as i know that have it like this 6200 6600 6800 (for desktop computers) and something like 6100 and 6150 for laptops

the whole point to fear is the awsome effects, at least that's why I bothered playing the game. nothing like mowing guys down in slomo with all the dust in the air and all...

they have a 6500 for desktops...i know cus i used to have one

I have a P4 2.4 GHz, 512 MB RAM and a ATI Radeon 9550 and i run it on low/medium without pretty much any lag, you can probably run it on medium settings. But the loading times are kinda annoying on my PC.

Yes, but on low settings. You should just upgrade your Video Card, there not expensive.
