I am mostly wondering if I will be able to run the games on high-ultra settings.

My specs are in my signature.

I am thinking I will be able to medium and if not, I can always do low. I can upgrade if I need to.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Medium-High depending on the game, is my guess. If you OC your CPU and GPU you can get even more out of your rig.

If that i5 in your sig is a 2nd generation or higher than it will last you a long ass time (2nd gen or higher i5/i7 are much faster than the consoles CPU). 12GB of ram is more than enough (your good on that). Your video card was borderline middle/highend when it came out in 09 (your will need to upgrade it if you want good settings).

Assuming you have a 2nd gen or higher i5, all you need is a video card upgrade

Anything quad core that came the last 2-3 years should be good to go well within next gen ( especially with OC ). 12 gb of Ram are more than enough. 5850 is quite good for today but if i was to guess you probably wanna update in a year or less if you wanna continue to play on high/mostly high settings

Thanks. I think I will OC my CPU. I am not sure what generation it is. I think I got it in 2009 or 2010.

I think I am going to upgrade the GPU because I want the PhysX features from Nvidia. For the SSD, I will if I can afford it haha. They're so expensive.

That thats rather unlucky than (the 2nd gen came out in 2011). The reason why I say its unlucky is because the first generation i5's where dual cores and the 2nd/3rd/4th gen i5's where quad cores

Desktop i5's from 1st gen icores there were quad cored only the mobile i5's and 600 series were dual cores. The i5 750 was a quad core that was released in late 2009 and the i5 760 was released in mid 2010.

This, they also share the same IPC as their bigger brother i7 920 etc. (Nehalem)
