i am thinking of replace my RAM,but wich ram should i pick? 2GB Corsair ram or an 4GB Kingston ram?MAXimumGTRAlso consider the speed of the RAM (the faster the better). 800Mhz is pretty fast (ideal). And more RAM is better. Kingston and Corsair are both good makers of RAM (but I don't know much about RAM).
Yes, either stick to what you already have in there, or upgrade all your modules. Also, check out wikipedia (or other web site) to get info on the specifics of hardware. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_memorySo in laymans terms then im better off sticking with pc2700 ddr ram then? whats the difference between buffered/unbuffered, registered/unregistered?
Its a complete minefield buying new memory for a pc, much more complicated than i first thought:?
