i didn't kill it. the eye balls came off by themselves.
look... i don't even wanna think about this anymore... whatever.
oh, that's what you meant. So what big RPG:s can you mention that didn't have bugs as this or worse? All games that Bethesda, Obsidian, Bioware, Spellbound Entertainment, Piranha Bytes etc have or had issues like this.i didn't kill it. the eye balls came off by themselves.

I've seen far worse bugs/glitches than that.
But I have to admit, my enjoyment of Fallout: New Vegas was marred by a LOT of crashes and freezing - not just on PC, but on X360 console as well.
Every game they've released has been littered with more bugs than I'd normally expect. It's a sad truth that Obsidian can't seem to get a handle on bug management and their QA department seems to be borderline incompetent. Either that or they agree to ridiculous deadlines to get a game completed, and can't do proper testing. Either way, it reflects badly on them as a studio.
All you have to do is go play KOTOR 2 to realise they suck. Why bioware didn't do KOTOR 2 i don't know.mep69
I don't think Bioware could have done any better in the same amount of time. Remember Dragon Age 2?
Having said that, I would argue that KOTOR 2 was vastly superior to the first. Sure, the ending sucked, but at least Obsidian had planned a ton of amazing alternate endings for the game.

Well it would have been better if they weren't force to rush it, there is there restored content mod; not sure if it's worth playing through. All you have to do is go play KOTOR 2 to realise they suck. Why bioware didn't do KOTOR 2 i don't know.mep69
KOTOR 2 was amazing. It may have been unfinished, but I would argue it was more enjoyable than the original, especially in the story department. With the restored content mod, I have to say it is one of the finest RPGs I have played in a long time.
Spit your dummy out and grow up. There are things out there more deserving of your hate.i didn't kill it. the eye balls came off by themselves.

Same type of thing I saw in Fallout3 and Oblivion...
Reasons why Obsidians rules:
1. One of the few true ROLEPLAYING devs left
2. Loved alot there previous games (KOTOR2, NWN2, Flalout New Vegas, Alpha Protocol,etc..)
3. They have great dialogue, characters and stories
First of all that's not Obsidian, that's Bethesda.
Secondly it's a massive game and should expect a few bugs.
Otherwise play 5 hour tunnel shooters if you want a "perfect experience."

Wen Obsidian was rushed by Lucas Arts to complete the game, they didn't manage to finish it on time, but the files of the finished version were IN the released game, as if Obsidian knew that the community would find these files and restore this lost content.
Thus 'The Restored Content' mod not only fills the plot holes, but really completes the story in so many ways. All of it is original content that the developers wanted in the game, what the developers intended the game to be, if it wouldn't have ben rushed. If you only played the rushed version, you haven't really played KoTOR 2, at all.
KoTOR2 is a far, far greater game than the first one could ever be.

KOTOR 2 is my favorite rpg. The story, characters, leveling, cut scenes, are stellar. Kreia is a brilliant foundation for roleplaying a character..."how do you deal with such a relationship?" All attributes impact your character, no throw away stats imo. The balance between skills/feats/force/class is unmatched. The leveling system is easy enough to grasp but deep enough to tweak endlessly. The way the writers discuss the force through Kriea is better than anything the movies accomplished. KOTOR 2 makes the assumption that the player is an adult capable of critical thinking and I like that approach.
Obsidian games actually are no more buggy than any release by Bioware or Bethesda. I was just playing the first Mass Effect the other day and fell through the geometry of the level forcing a reload. Twice. I couldn't even play Fallout 3 for the first month due to all the crashes and technical problems, a lot of which were apparently also present in Oblivion for many people.
Develop mediocre RPGs that are utterly broken and attain acclaim in the gaming community.
If Obsidian somehow manages to create a Fallout that's half as decent as 1 and 2, I won't think so lowly of them.

Fallout New Vegas felt alot like Fallout1/2 (both of which I got the day the released). Fallout3 reminded me very little of the old fallout games, New Vegas did alot htough (especially the great OLD WORLD BLUES DLC).

They may release broken games, but they usually fix them up pretty well. Aside from the bugs, I thought Neverwinter Nights 2 had much better campaign than Neverwinter Nights 1. Obsidian I think is just too overambitious adding stuff to the game. Like that quote that art isn't finished until there is nothing left to cut away. It's fine to have ambitious plans, but they need to make cuts through the course of development to ensure what gets released is polished.
