I have my Mcafee update settings set to "notify me when updates are available" then they change from "download and install updates automatically" why does this keep happening?? I keep having to change it but it keeps going back to the default setting.

Why would you want it to notify you anyway?

Ditch that terrible software and try Avast!, Microsoft Security Essentials, or any number of other worthwhile AV software.

mcaffee stinks here here! f-secure ftw!

http://www.f-secure.com/estore/can/

i like them because UNLIKE every otyher security tool in the world they will actually tell you whats going on in the world of internet security and could really open your eyes to the stuff going on around you.. for example it takes two teenagers about a minute to a minute thirty to load up and install an atm bug

Mcaffee too bad, well at least their enterprise version has a very minilistic GUI and does everything quietly. I can't say anything about their desktop one, it probably has giant icons like an xbox 360 home screen. Just go install avast, microsoft's, or f-secure.
