I  only hate consoles from a gaming prespective, because now consoles are so big business that no matter if the pc has better controls and stuff like that, the consoles gets a lot of the games first and in the better shape (splinter cell double agent) because consoles is more user friendly, therefore its more family friendly ;) And therefore more money to the devolopers.

I don't completely hate them. I got a ps2 and played that alot along with my pc. But now that I just upgraded my PC I didn't want to spend more money on a console. Another thing is PC games offer better graphics and free online play for most games.Captain-Seal

i hate console fanboys. i like almost everything that you can play games on. Is world of warcraft as good as elder scrolls oblivion?

  I don't, Infact I think every pc gamer should own a PS2..   Its dirt cheap and has most if not all genres or series that the PC lacks..

I don't, and will never. PC is just a lot better. But not only is it better in games (where it destroys any console), but it is also good for something else than just PLAY PLAY PLAY. Ask any of the console game developers on which platform they make their game. PS3 maybe? I don't think so.

And yes, maybe it is "dirt cheap" in your country, but many people do not have 100 dollars to give just for a console. That is another reason. If you lived in Serbia, you'd understand my words. Here, when you own a 200$ PC you are the king.

I don't hate consoles, I just prefer PC games, and have no interest in console games right now (already don't have enough time to play all the PC games I wanna play).

What I "hate" is developers trying to shove console-style gaming into PC games. Both platforms have their strengths - and people who do want the best of both will go with both (a PC and console(s)) - so please develop PC games for PCs and stop trying to mutilate making hybrids or crossovers, or worse, making games totally suited for console and forcing them on PCs.
