Who plays EVE online?

I tried the trial for like 4 days and had to blow up my ship because the game was way too addicting. I might subscribe in the summer if I have nothing else to do.

I've got the trial and bought the game, the game is pretty different from other MMO's but also very very time demanding and addictive...I am canceling my subscription for exams.

I used to. A very fun and time consuming game. I got really far and was able to do Level 4's with me and a friend. We could gather millions and millions of isk from it. :P I also may re-sub in the next few weeks as the new expansion allows planet's to be colonized and bought.

I'm not patient enough for a game like Eve where you will almost always be mining when you first start out.Pvt_r3d

I tried Eve. It's a super game if you're into that genre. But mining...ugghhh. It's horrible. Just read "The Road to Wigan Pier" or ask my great grandfather if you don't believe me. :P

I played it practically every single day.

Me and Eve had a little falling out last october so i'm not playing it atm which is a shame 2 chars i have are fairly decent.

But i'll agree the game is just so damn addictive its fantastic.

I play eve everyday.Maybe the best game of all times.:D

Played for a month, joing EU corp learned the ropes had fun.

Played for a second month, joined a Pirate corp, was bomarded with tasks like speccing into certain ships and being tasked with gate camping.

Then I stopped playing.

Came back to it after being given a free 5 day reactivation, was very fun roaming about but well, with no corp there isn't much direction.

While I love EVE's design and everything that it stands for (an actual persist ant online universe, proper meaningful player interaction that makes WoW's themepark design look ancient), it is a game that requires way to much dedication than I can put into a game.

I have been playing for about a year and a half and loving every minute of it. I've started to get my friends in to it and they're hooked in hours. A lot of the appeal comes from the fact that skills can be trained while you're offline and piloting also requires knowledge, not just in game skills. It's always satisfying taking out someone in a big, expensive ship with a smaller, cheaper one because you know what you're doing and they don't what's happening.

Uh you guys are really making me want to resub to Eve now. Must...resist...

mwuahahaha ! I was there for the 1st week when they moved into X-7O, we killed multiple caps even before the Southern Coalition's official attack date. I love that recorded convo of their leader, saying they were going to wipe out the entire north in less than 6 months, as soon as I heard that I joined an NC alliance and FC'd a load of ops solid for 1 week on a killing spreeeee! So which char, alliance are you? Glad to hear they're already retreating heh. They lost so many carriers, dreadnaughts, motherships and now even titans! w00t
