So basically I need an rpg that came out within the last few years to play.

Should I get NWN 2, The Witcher, Two Wolrds, or Gothic 3?

I enjoyed morrowind and baldur's gate alot.

I have Oblivion, but don't really play it anymore.

Feel free to add in some rpg's if I missed any good ones.

if you like baldurs gate icewind dale is identical graphics wise but a little different with the gameplay and also newer. Im not sure if its harder or easier than BG1 since I just started playing it but so far its fun questing game. You can try fallout1/2 and planescape torment if you havent played those yet.

Already have Icewind Dale, and yes it's a little harder due to more enemies on map. Fallout1/2 have not played yet. And I've heard good things about planescape too!

Out of those, The Witcher is the best.

I'd probably rank them: The Witcher > NWN2 = Gothic 3 > Two Worlds.

I don't think you'd go far wrong in working you way through Bioware's back catalogue if you say you already like Baldur's Gate. So that would be any of the following:

Baldur's Gate 2

Planescape: Torment - very good!!!

Neverwinter Nights

Neverwinter Nights 2

Or from their newer stuff, and if you fancy a change from the Dungeons & Dragons setting:

Knights of the Old Republic - highly recommended

Knights of the Old Republic 2

Jade Empire - haven't played it myself

Then there's always Diablo/Diablo 2, much more hack & slash, less engrossing story-wise, but good fun nonetheles.

If The Witcher doesn't win this poll then there's something wrong.

Well, before trying the more recents...you may want to consider playing planescape and fallout before...after it will be hard to revert back to older graphics.

NWN2 is the best deal in the list you offered, but avoid the expansion like the plague.

IMO the Witcher isn't worth your time, or the label of a RPG, but that is personnal and I understand that peoples have different tastes, just like some peoples like action games and shooters.

Of those choices? The Witcher for singleplayer.
NWN2 for Multiplayer, although I still prefer 1 though.

The Witcher was so bleh, I have no idea why people sing praises for it. Maybe the genre is so desperate for new life anything will give you that crack-a-lacking high of an RPG.

BGII / Arcanum / Morrowind are my all time favourites.

two worlds is not that bad ...
it was worth 20$ during the steam's x-mas sales, a pretty good 20$ value

No need to get Two Worlds. Except if it costs $5.
