which one? Quake Wars or Stalker?

while looking for something mildly entertaining this early summer, i'm tied between two games. both offbeat from common formulas in their genre. and both with similar in percentage from reviews. when it comes down to it, i just want a new experience. what are your opinions?

In my personal opinion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is the better game. Granted, I've only played a demo of Quake Wars, but it just felt like the same old thing to me. Stalker is a more intersting game because of it's less typical premise.

IMO STALKER

i guess i'd be the first one to vouch for Quake Wars then. it's definitely a great game, with a deep and interesting class based system, great gunplay, intense special effects and more. i'd also like to point out that the bots are some of the smartest to ever appear in an online shooter. and don't you worry about having playing the same old thing -- it's much more refined than many other famous online shooters, i think. as a matter of fact, QW is much better than the BF games in my book.

however, if you're not too keen on online play, i would say stalker wouldn't be a bad choice as well. it's VERY buggy, but there's enough patches and mods out there to more than fix it. but while it has a very open-ended system, don't expect it to be a solid shooter.....the gunplay in that game is pretty lackluster.

STALKER. However this is the one thing that you'll love that's QW related.
