http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227443 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229364 Also the first one doesn't say windows 8 64-bit. Is that important? Is there anything else better for the same price?

prebuild machines suck :P If I had to pick one of those 2 I'd say the first. If I would have to pick another one I'd say http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227436 But you should make it yourself it's easy and a lot cheaper

Fair enough, but I wouldn't know where to start as far as deciding on which components to use.

The first one is better, and they are both 64 bit. However, pre-Builts are not worth the money; you can build one yourself; about as difficult as building Legos. Here's a great thread - http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=493301
