Poll Which Graphics cards are better for rendering with Blender 3D? (9 votes)

Nvidia 78%
AMD 33%

I think that Nvidia is better because in Blender it mentions CUDA, which is Nvidia's Trademark technology.

I like Nvidia better. I had one AMD GPU and it seemed to have far less memory than it promised.

Blender 3D supports CUDA so I would grab a Nvidia card. It does not have to be the workstation cards

Blender's opencl with amd doesn't even work, nvidia is your only option.

GTX titan is still the best for blender as far as I know, gtx 590 is not too far behind. The 6 series cards are noticeably slower.

(!, Blender)

Cycles is made for Nvidia

It's like x12 faster...

Internal rendering, and most anything else will remain the same...on-screen adjustments/work flow are the same.

I just got a GTX-660 (my entry-point to Nvidia/Cuda/GPU-processing) and the results are a joy to work with...yet rendering is the sole pay-off.

AMD Fanboys took over this Poll. I cannot see how AMD gets 43 percent when Nvidia gets 73.
