Which CPU is more powerful?

I'm looking to build a PC, like most of you, and I am on a limited budget. So far, these two CPU's look decent. But which one is more powerful?

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Coure TK-57

Intel i3 2130?

any Intel CPU will destroy an AMD CPU.

How much faster, specifically in terms of video editing, would the i3 be? You guys have made it clear that the i3 is better. But by how much would you say compared to the AMD? Sorry for the amount of questions. Lol.Hopkins_J

I think Jake and Skipnot are great entertainment. No matter how absurd a comment either one makes, they never seem to let peoples responses to them ruffle their feathers. I get a kick how these two get most people here all worked up with their panties in a knot whenever they reply to a thread.... It's amazing how they can completely hijack a thread by just making one or two comments..sends the forum into a frenzy leaving the TC wondering what the hell happened....got to love it !....:lol:

lol no...AMD has finally managed to surpass the old conroe cpus, ie c2q and c2d with their new pile driver based cpus. Either barely surpassed or matched clock for clock, im still not sure. Good news that they have caught up to 5 year old architecture.

The Pentium 4, because 2.8Ghz is a higher frequency than 3930Khz. Also, 5 x 4 is a higher number than just 7. They don't make 'em like they used to.
