Is the GameSpot review of Aion coming soon? Did you guys decide not to review it? Inquiring minds want to know!

rushed lol? the preview was almost a month ago. you can play an MMO for 2-4 hours a day for 3 weeks and get a pretty good idea about the game you are reviewing. If you can't do it by then, you may want to think about employment in a different industry.jazillaTrue that.

not really, playing an mmo can change quite a bit, especially in the first little while.the only good one nc soft made is guild wars b/c it free to play lol
tutt3r
Ncsoft didn't make Guild Wars, they only published it.
Also, as stated, Guild Wars is not an mmo, the entire game is instanced.
They can only review the game in its officially released state. They were squashing bugs up until release date. I prefer they play MMOs they plan on reviewing instead of rushing. The wait is a good thing. Don't worry its coming.stele29How come they don't do this for other games? plenty of games get release day patches.

end-game content is at least half of what an MMO is...if end game sucks, well, the game deserves a 7.5 or lower. If its good, then its deserves a 7.5 or better (imo)
If it takes a month or two to get to the level cap, that is how long the review should take to get published.
Patience, dude

for the dude who has been playing 2-4 hours per day since launch and is nowhere near the end game: you do realize they are milking you for money right? 2 hours X 30 days is 60 hours. Multiply that by 2 and you are at 120 hours IF you just played 2 hours a day. That sounds like an awfully boring amount of grinding to me.

Same...
I'm still playing the game for review. It's taking me a lot longer than I'd hoped, partly because I've had to review several other games since starting on this one. The review is coming, but I can't say exactly when it'll be done. Sorry about that.
I'l go ahead and keep this open since Justin responded in it. However, since this request is about the review content, always post these topics in the Site Enhancements forum. Justin already responded about the review in this forum on November 2nd.
UPDATE: Better yet, it was bumped so I'll close this one up. There are a variety of other Aion topics you can use to continue the discussion of the game. Thanks!
