Has to be Kerplunk!...oh sorry PC games!...erm, does that include budget games as well as hugely over hyped ones? cos then it's gotta be those RTS ones that is released nowadays when their predecessor was released 10 years ago! cos then it's gotta be UT2004, with their crap damage engine...oh sorry headshots are worth more!..but then Q2 or 1 had that, and thats HOW old!!!???, gimme a game that makes a body shot where vital organs are, or if armoured main parts, then arms and legs are worth more, and that futuristic weps do damage they should do and not as much as a fart does, all that area but no damage whatsoever!!!
I like fantasy games, but when they are based around an engine that has only been improved by the video card capabilities and a few vehicles that move too fast for network lagg to compensate, then you might as well buy Quake 2 for a few quid, and play that, cos it's sooo much better!..still.
..especially when you have to lock onto an object and stay locked on while the rocket flies towards it so u r done by someone else or run over by what u were shooting at!??, what the hell was the point of locking on, surely is you shoot straight away then guide..fine, if you lockon then it's got it's target!!?? ...numpty designers, the 2003 one was the dogs, good improvement on the vehics and game mode with the nodes, but too cartoony for me now that games have moveed on so much more. gimme BF2 or BF1942 for that and i'll willingly wittle my life hours away on it instead.
p.s. whats the point of improving some aspects of yer game then having your ass kicked by some company who realises that playability is the MAIN key element, the rest come after!...graphics work short time, but i'll not buy the next unless you sort out the 'random fire reward' engine.
Oh and for all network multiplayer games...get rid of FAT bullets, you either get me or you don't, i don't want any of this "well he was nowhere near but the engine simulates the bullets as being the size of kegs so it did hit ya"...

well thats my rant, my opinions are in this order:
-Joint Operations Typhoon Rising & Escalation are the best overall, with their faults, true but good! the motorbikes rule!!!
-Battlefield 2 next (Special Forces pack is lame)
- Tribes :Vengeance (rocks for what it is, can't wait for the next one)
-Battlefield 1942 & Vietnam
-Counterstrike Source
-America's Army
-UT2004 (sucks)
