I recently moved back to XP Pro from V64 Ultimate. I couldn't get that "driver stopped responding and recovered" issue resolved despite trying all the different solutions that I could find on the topic, so I'm waiting for SP1 before moving back. Hopefully by then, with a combination of the OS maturing and the drivers, the problem will go away.

What's the big deal about 32 versus 64 bit? Is there a big difference that is worth the price to upgrade to 64 or is it a marketing thing?

Well basically 32 bit has a lot of limitations that sets it back in a few areas, such as high end gaming. For example, on 32 bit you can only have about 3 gigs of ram, even if you have 4 gigs installed. 64 bit allows 128gb of RAM if I remember correctly, so yea.

64 bit alows 16 exabytes (17,179,869,184 gig) of ram.

I'm currently running timex. It has all of the features people want in an OS. It tells the time, it glows in the dark, and even tells the date!

On a more serious note, I'm currently running 3 computers on Windows XP (1 Pro, 2 home) and had DSL (Damn Small Linux) running for a while until my RAID 0 decided to crap out on me.
