I'm looking for something that's not small and has good graphics. Preferably under $250. Anyone got any recommendations?

IPS technology 24' = 1080p, 27' = 2K, Gsync if you own Nvidia card.

Brands like Asus, Acer, BenQ, AOC, Dell, Samsung, LG.

Ooh.. Under 250.

I know it's hard shelling out lots for a monitor especially after you already spent like... let's say 150-300 on a gpu.

But just remember that monitors hold their values over time fairly well, and a monitor is really not the thing that's going to need replacing ever. That and it's what you're looking at.

if you are into racing games I would get an 21:9 ultrawide monitor, which I also find nice for fp shooters...very immersive I have an LG 29" 2560 x 1080p ips 75hz

Anything less than 1440P is for cramped spaces. Or specific needs.

At that price you either go with a 24" 1080p 144Hz panel or a 27" 1440P 60Hz panel.

  • AOC C24G1 24" VA 144Hz 1080p for $230
  • Acer CB271HU 27" IPS 60Hz 1440p for $230

I would go for the 27" 1440p Acer, the bigger size and resolution of the monitor will make a bigger visual impact for your games than a 144Hz monitor which are GREAT but only useful to me with FPS games everything else a higher quality and bigger panel play a bigger hand.

I've owned a Samsung monitor for several years now and it's great.
