I guess Starcraft was really good... its a shame that a new game will not be released... I still like C&C Red Alert, it was really good game and I play this sometimes.
What are you all, like 8 years old or something? I'm not saying any of those were bad games, but if you didn't need a boot disk for them, then you missed out on so many games it isn't even funny. I understand the question is "that you still playing" (good job public school system!) but you should all check out this site dedicated to "decommissioned" games, also called abandonware. These are games whose developers are no longer actively seeking money for their product. Check one of these sites out at http://www.abandonia.com/index2.php a wonderful selection of games, some of which will make you rethink today's trends towards better graphics at all costs, including story and gameplay.
i'd play some dos games but i cant be bothered to get em working properly so currently the oldest is unreal tournament 1999 which isn't too old. OH, half life came out 1998 so its half life, silly me. i'd love to play overkill on dos though
The orginal Deus Ex has, IMO, some decent replayability...and so does Morrowind(if you have 6 months to wander:wink:). But I still PLAY old UT and DOOM occasionally. I also like to dust of Pinball and Tetris and some ARCADE CLASSICS(Asteriods,Defender,Venture,Zaxxon, etc, etc,)
I've been playing old Infocom text adventures like Deadline and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy while at work. My Japanese coworkers see the English text and me typing away and they assume I'm working.

huh? Did you just attack my love for pacman or something.... and why do i have to be 8 years old to love pacman?
Sorry LordofDark19, my intent wasn't to be cruel, just funny... a little bit of a challenge (which is what my reply was intending) was only meant to get into a little more of a heated discussion... people writing more than 6 words and actually thinking about the question for a minute.
Currently working through the original SSI Forgotten Realms DOS games: Pool of Radiance, Hillsfar, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades, and Pools of Darkness.

-Chris Mikaitis I think you need to think about the question. It wasn't "What's your favorite abandoned game that no one's heard of?". People are answering it fine...you seem to be making this political.
