Well your GPU looks like the limiting factor. I'm sure it will play older games or less graphically-intensive games. For any newer games it might be useful to Google 'Radeon 6870 <game>'.

Been favoriting platformers lately

a rough guess would be most games before the year 2012 for sure at max quality. I can say this because i used an AMD 5870 gpu up until early 2012 and your gpu is 1 gen better.

Anything after 2013 would be making trade offs between maxing games and running them mid quality or lower.
