Hi everyone,

I usually buy brand PC or MAC but I would like to build a rig to play some simulators and shooters on a 4k screen, but have absolutely no idea what to buy!

Thanks everyone!

Here is an idea dont even hit 2k , and since your on 4k screen you can save some money on cpu too.

Ryzen 2700x (comes with cooler)

16gb DDR4 3600mhz CL16

X470 Mobo

Radeon 7

or if you like Nvidia

RTX 2080

750w EVGA PSU

1tb M.2 SSD

There are more options but here's one to give an idea for a case

Case

Here are some more ideas

If you want Intel based

i9 9900k

intel mobo: Asrock Z90

CPU AiO cooler

Cosair H100i

If you want top tier gpu performance (personally I wouldn't spend this much on a gpu)

RTX 2080ti

They are on par with each other at that $700 price point. RTX does have the edge when it comes to ray tracing

@Pelon208: If you are going 4K... I wouldn't get anything less than a RTX 2080 Ti. Sure, it is expensive as fuk, but 4K is a crazy resolution and is super demanding. Personally, I would avoid 4K as a primary display and go for 1440p high refresh rate (120hz+). It will still look great and will be much better for those shooters you will be playing. A regular RTX 2080 or Radeon 7 will pair nicely at 1440p.

Personally I would buy a 1080 today and wait for prices to drop on the 2080 ti.
