I have a Dell XPS 600 thats 2 years old and I want to upgrade to 2GB of memory and this vidoe card: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3435454&Sku=P56-8810&SRCCODE=YAHOODF&CMP=SPC-YAHOO

Now I see it needs a specific amount of wattage to work...HOw do I find out on my PC if the power supplying these cards meets this?

1. wrong forum theres a forum called pc hardware thats where you need to ask these types of questions id let you know because this thread is probaly going to get locked

2. don't even bother to check it i can already tell you it won't work the new xps can barely run the 8800gt and thats pushing it also before you go waste$300 on a video card make sure you can upgrade to a dual core because that pentium 4 is going to bottleneck that card

It will be fine as long as the power supply is 450+ watts even with a bottleneck ( the bottleneck will not even happen probably) you still will get better fps then with your old 6800 so I say its worth the $ rather then building an entire new system.
