Alright currently running this:

E6600

EVGA 680i Mobo

EVGA 8800 GTX Superclocked

4g Crucial RAM

750 Continous Watt PSU

Antec 900

So I have 15-1700$ Max to spend on upgrades. Sound card is fine, drives are fine, Mobo has been stable etc etc. Pretty much looking to max Warhammer Online for Open RvR and be ready for the 2009 gaming year. My gut insitct is to upgrade the processor, add another 8800GTX, upgrade the PSU to a 1000W, and if possible get some form of cooling device for the SLI-8800s and have it all fit withing the confines of my Antec 900.

But I'm open to all options here even maybe going up to 2x 280s etc etc... do your best my piece of mind for 2009 and some of 2010 is in your hands.

If you have that much to blow might as well get new graphics cards instead of getting another 8800 GTX for SLI. I say a Quad Core Intel CPU like a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 or 9550, new mobo, and 2 GTX 280's in SLI and you'll be set. That's well within your budget.

What new Mobo then? Its basically just buying a new computer then because wouldnt I in-turn have to replace the RAM? I'm assuming you guys are suggesting I go up to a DDR3 Mobo.

Not to mention I cannot SLI 2 280's with only a 750W power supply so I would then have to replace that.
