I recently finished building a new computer and had no problems with any installation (thank god). But I realized that my cpu, an AMD Phenom II 955, is only being recognized as an 800mhz processor (this is not CoolnQuiet).
Anyway, the fix for this is to update the bios, and I have no idea how to do it. I downloaded the BIOS file from ECS but I am not able to actually get it to flash into the motherboard. Can some one take me through the process?
