I'm thinking about getting WoW but it's been out a while so is it still worth getting?
Also which game to I get first? the orignal, BC or WotLK?

give it a try.. get the battlechest (contains WoW and BC) and you get a month of free play time all for $30.
If you enjoy it, keep on playing, and buy WotLK down the line.
Yep bcause Bioware are known for making good RPG *GAMEPLAY(COMBAT) right? .... a bunch of conversation and mission choices wont save them in this genre.wait for the old republic instead
if you're going to lose your life, at least lose it in style

ou can really jump in and out of WOW anytime, so no it's not too late. Still, this game will probably give you like this love/hate feeling, because there are a lot of things you will like about it and a lot of things you will wish were better than they are. The main thing is to just have fun, and not make completing every minor quest and squeezing out every last drop ofXP your objective. Focus on getting better equipment and strengthening your character, and playing with friends, it's best that way.
I am dead-certain that a LOST online game could work...like you make your own original character in a sort of factions thing with one side DHARMA Initiative members, one side Others...or maybe just everyone is a survivor or something. It would probably have a lot of adventure, mystery, FPS and survival aspects to it. Anyway they probably wouldn't want to start on a project that risky until the whole tv series has aired in its completion and the full scope of the series' mythology is out in plain view for the developers to work with. But maybe that would make a better single-player game made by a company that knows what they're doing...like Bethesda, in a style similar to Oblivion/Fallout3, with online play. That would be awesome.
Well if your one of those gamers who want to keep up on the style, then yeh itsa bit late. If you've got mates
playing on it and still loving it then your gonna get more fun out of it. Still though, its behind the fashion now.
Nah, don't get WoW dude.
Also I am so confused by The Whole Old Republic thing, can someone name it properly :S
Thanks.

Actually, I think kotor combat was very well implemented. It won't work for an MMO, but I really don't see how you can criticise their RPG gameplay. Most are extremely well done.
