"TomsHardware: Best graphics cards" -Reliability?

Hi, I was thinking of buying a new graphics card and I came across tomshardware graphics cards of the month.

Do you think this a reliable source? I'm not aiming at any specific price range in the article, but as a whole is it a decent list?

it's okay, though I'd probably recommend the 280 and 280X over the 760 and 770. Unless you want PhysX or something.

Kinda weird to recommend a 780 over a 290 also, 290 is a decent bit cheaper and faster.

Depends on your location, in the US the 200 series and whats left of the 7000 series prices are inflated by demand and storage's. The 280 prices are still $350+ while back were near $400 on average , The plain 290 is suppose to retail $400 but you can barely find one for under $500(though recently prices have gotten abit better). The the 290x is suppose to be 550 but until recently prices have been S650-$750. This is why many have been recommending the GTX 780 over 290's because you get better performance then 290 and is nearly as fast as 290x for less money.
