Coming from PC Gamer Titan RTX and I must admit, I totally did not see this coming anytime soon. Could be the first 7nm card coming from Nvidia, considering the current 2000 series isn't next-gen, I could certainly see it, especially if those Titans are indeed 7nm.

Looking at my 1080Ti, I never own a Titan card before and looking at that pic.......hmmm it's time?

Also, Joker Production went deep into this as well:

My Titan X Pascal can still run everything maxed out with great frame rates at 1440p. The only thing I could really see wanting this for at this time is VR super sampling. Not big on 4K gaming at the moment.

1080ti will do for now.

I'm not ready to spend RTX prices on graphics cards yet.

If I sell my entire PC, I might be able to buy the Titan and frame it on my wall :O

I already went out of my comfort zone buying an overpriced RTX 2080 Ti. A new RTX Titan is a slap in the face as my card is already at Titan pricing. How crazy is the pricing going to be for this one? Ridiculous.

And that price is all due to the new tech taking so much space.

The Titan isn't going to blow away the RTX 2080Ti. At best, it will be 20% faster, and usually, a Titan releases first and Ti comes later. This time, it's the other way around. And the fact Titan V is $3,000, I would guess Nvidia is shooting for $2,000. If anything, the Titan RTX is aiming for those who haven't gotten a 2080Ti.

I'm with you on this one R4gn4r0k. Nothings wrong with the 1080Ti, but at some point in time, I do want to own a RTX but not at the price what Nvidia is asking right now.

More space, lack of competition, and hyping up new tech are all factors.

2080 ti has 4352 cuda cores while the fully unlocked quadro rtx 6000-8000 have 4,608 cuda cores that's about 6.6% faster in gaming clock for clock. titan will be a fully unlocked chip with 12 gigs of vram. My guess it will be $2000. won't be 7nm

To all the people that defended the price of the 2080 Ti and saying the xx80 Ti's would replace the branding of Titan, to hell with you.

when are the 7nm cards coming? I'm getting ready to buy a GPU shortly after Christmas, not sure I should play it safe and get a 1080 or go all out and get the 2080.

Probably Q4 2019 at the earliest for Nvidia. AMD 7nm will come out before then, but will probably be shit.

Then I won't wait. AMD already has workstation 7 nm cards from what I hear, but yeah call me a sucker I just prefer Nvidia cards haha.

I'm not defending it. I effin hate it. But it seems to be the new reality.

AMD desperately needs a good top end GPU.

MSRP only $1999.99, but the Founders Edition is $2499.99. (meaning expect prices to be $2999.99)

The prices for digital currency is falling and thus so is Mining. AMD just got handed a pretty huge platter they need to take advantage off. Hope AMD releases 7nm soon.

@davillain-: Isn't founders edition the only edition?
