Hey guys! I'm going on a 4 week trip to the US and tour from Miami to Boston with my brother. Of course I'll be busy visiting stuff and driving but I'm taking my gaming laptop along with me and I want a great game to play when I'm at a motel room or such. Got any ideas? I thought about Mass Effect, but I already got it on the Xbox 360 and The Witcher seemed like a nice option.

Witcher is your best option. Don't forget to download the most recent patch as it adds some new content and makes it so you don't need the CD in the drive.

If you have a REALLY good laptop then crysis/crysis Warhead, if not, then get The sims 2/3, Spore, Sins of a solar empire, Company of heroes, Farcry 2, and Medal of honour Airbourne.

Hmmm... The Witcher seems to be my fave option up to now. Although I must say Crysis looks great, but the demo didn't gave me a feeling or great gameplay. Any more options? It doesn't have to be one of the latest games.

If you want a long RPG that'll give you tons of stuff to do. Get Fallout 3.

I'll just list a few that have been keeping my attention recently. Morrowind, Daggerfall, Heretic, Hexen, Crysis, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights 2, and Two Worlds.

Neverwinter Nights 2 sounds nice too! But isn't it story based? I mean, don't I have to play the first one too?

I haven't played Neverwinter Nights (1) and so far I like Neverwinter Nights 2.
I get the story too.

Plus if you do get confused about the story of Neverwinter Nights 1 you could probably find it somewhere on the Internet anyway

Well every single game mentioned above, but for a 4 week+ trip I'd recommend something that has replay value like Oblivion, even if you own it on your Xbox. You could also try out the Guild Wars trilogy if you have internet connection. And let us not forget about Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic I & II and Neverwinter Nights 2 plus expansions. These would keep you in front of the computer for quite some time.

Get King's Bounty: The Legend. Great game that's a lot of fun. What's nice is it looks very good yet isn't too technically demanding (nice for a laptop) and while is a decently deep game, doesn't demand too much control wise (more planning) so it's suitable to play on a laptop in a car and stuff.

It's also a pretty long game...I think my first trip through it was at least 30-40 hours, and it's worth a second play through with a different class/abilities/units. The world has randomized elements too so you will find different units in different locations, different items, and other stuff the second time through.

I got the GW series, but I've got tired of it for quit a long time. Star Wars: KOTOR, well got those on the original XBox, haha. Hmm, King's Bounty does look interesting but it's still The Witcher who's on the lead this moment.

I played them out of order and didn't have any problems understanding NWN 2 without playing the first game.

Yeah, Big Rigs for sure. You really never get tired of being winner. On a serious note, grab Sins of a Solar Empire. It will entertain you for long periods of time :).

The Witcher is a great choice, but so is Neverwinter Nights 2 + Mask of The Betrayer.
