The Best of Command And Conquer

Now since hearing C&C has gone from being "The Godfather" of RTS to just another spiffy looking RTT game, that alone was enough to disappoint. That's got me thinking about the good times of C&C and appreciating the better installments of the franchise. Which leads me to this topic and poll...

Which is your favourite series of the Command & Conquer franchise and why?

For me personally I love the Generals series, especially Zero:Hour since you can have stupidly huge and unrestricted battles... A LAN Party favourite ;-D

Red Alert is by far the best methinks.

Generals with Zero Hour. On of my top three RTSs of all time.

I enjoy the lore of the Tiberium series, but Red Alert 1 was RTS perfection in terms of the fundamentals.

Red Alert 2 continued this.

I think Tiberian Sun is my third favorite, with the original coming a close fourth.

I also really really enjoyed Generals, it was the only RTS I could really play online as well.

Also, I feel Renegade deserves an honorable mention. It was pretty damn fun

I like the story in the Tiberian series, but I like Red Alert series more as a whole. So Red Alert.

I'll have to go with Red Alert. Red Alert 2 is great.

I would vote for Tiberium but i can't. You included C&C4 in that.No way am I saying number 4 is worthy of a vote.
My favs were C&C3 Tiberium Wars, and Kane's Wrath.

Definitely the world of Tiberium for me. Very unique, very original with a hell of an awesome back story with an extremely intriquing plot device(aka the Tiberium). Its a shame they never made another Tiberium related game since Tiberium Wars.
