So I'm transitioning out of iTunes because it doesn't support high quality formats like FLAC. I'm thinking of using MusicBee or maybe Media Monkey.

I have a desktop and a laptop. I want to have the same exact number of songs/albums at all times. If I listen to a song in my laptop, lets say Queen's Under Pressure, I want my desktop to recognized that I just listened to that song and make the appropriate changes to the library like updating the play count. If I modify the tags of an album on my desktop I want the change to be reflected on my laptop, same if I decide to add or delete a particular song or album.

Does anyone know how to achieve this without it being a pain in the ass?

I'm thinking about uploading all my songs to Google Drive and working through it but with over 100GB's of music (and counting) I would have to pay $100 per year for the storage capacity and I would like to avoid it if possible.
