3 very distinctive races that are supposedly equally as a balanced, I'm just gonna say that terrans are op as fuk.. I play as a zerg and every game, I play as if I'm on a disadvantage. I feel that zergs are currently a bit too weak against the other 2 powerhouse races. Macro is the strongest point of a zerg, and frankly more than half the players on bnet don't harass or harass properly to stop the zerg from macroing up and call the race OP. We don't have that one unit that can turn a game around (mules) most zerg units do mediocre damage, and what's the deal with hydras man.. The most iconic unit in the Starcraft universe now has 80 hp. I am really looking forward to Heart of the Swarm to see which unit or units :D will be added to the zerg race, hopefully lurkers but I doubt it. Now I'd like to hear your opinions about your race or a race that pisses you off, because why not :P

Zerg all day! Those creepy bug things kick some ass. As someone who has a hard time doing a ton of micromanagement, Zerg is perfect for me. Just wish we had a bit more HP on our units. Terrans destroy me constantly.

'toss death ball is the hardest single thing to kill imo.

The game is extremely balanced (from what I can observe..), but mostly at the top level, at lower levels Terran/Protoss are more forgiving, since they can wall, and have a few extremely solid XvX openers that all feel very safe.

Zerg's the cutest race by far though :)

Another lowlvl player complaining about balance. Blizzard balances after the top tier players, which they should. Mind me asking if you play anything besides 1vs1? If you are, how would you balance the game in like 2vs2? Where 2 players often attack one player?

"You live there, in that country called "The USA", and you live like that, because you want, yes ? Stress... pollution... the best 40 years of your life working 5 days a week and 8 hours a day to make your boss rich and let him step on you as "thanks"... violence and crime... racism... crowd and noise... biggotry and witch hunts... MTV and intellectual death... juvenile delinquency... and a whole society based on the notion of "the winner" and "the loser"... there is no real people, only "winners" and "losers".

... NO, thank you!"

Where did that come from - like are you responding to the OP of another thread

2v2 balance, hmm. Well, firstly, 1v1 balance is more important, so I'd just not balance it :D. Problem solved 8)

I may not be some high level player, but if the game is balanced 1v1, 2v2 shouldn't be far off, since you should theoretically be able to defend against 2 people with 2 people. I find 2v2 to be a pain, feels more like 1v2 with the partners I've had, and I'm quite timid about expanding in 2's.

Zerg FTW!

@kaealy:Also, if you're in a situation where 2 players are attacking 1 player, then you and your teammate are doing something wrong. 2v2 is WAY more forgiving when it comes to worker count at the start, so early 1v1 cheeses aren't really considered as cheese in 2v2, more like a strategic move.

You can't balance the game after anything besides 1vs1, because there are too many factors in play when there are combinations of races etc. I don't play SC2 at all, it's just plain common sense.

Acctually Terran has their struggles these days. I play Zerg and I dont have any issue beating Terrans. Constant buffs on one side and nerfs on the other has made this harder on Terrans. As mentioned above, the Toss death ball is the hardest thing to deal with for me as well. The ball is used for every match up, as well. Im not saying its OP, but most definitely a lot easier to use if you have any sort of macro capabilities.

The game is extremely balanced, each race is almost identically as powerful as the next. It's really the player, and quick reaction to what your opponent is doing that makes the game seem imbalanced. I do love my protoss though. Stalkers are an amazing unit.

I honestly think that the Zerg are the race with the most creativity behind it. The toss are interesting and cool and the terran are very flexible while also a little restricted. I cant say I hate any of em or that I think any one race is better. The game is an equilateral triangle rather than a deformed polygon when it comes to balance. All sides are equal. lol.

Everybody who claims that X race is better than Y race is automatically a racist :P

I play random and I think it's the best race. I like all 3 race but mostly Zerg are the funnest.

I play as Zerg. I think Protoss os the easiest to play as which is why it's the most popular.

I think Zerg is the hardest, but in the hands of pros they are pretty even. With Zerg you have to have perfect timings to survive, whereas other races have more leeway.

Is sc2 dead? I havent heard anyone talk about it for a while (except this thread) and whenever i try to join a game it takes forever and on user created maps it's empty most of the time. On topic tho, zerg is probably one of the coolest races of all time, i just loove the "alien" feel to them.

Lol no its not dead. At all. In fact, there are more and more tourneys for SC2. Its going to be bigger than SC BW with time. Even IGN has its own SC2 league now. http://www,ign.com/ipl .

units are weaker hp wise yes...but look at it...use some banelings/lings/hydros...lose ur army...ull have it back in less than 45 seconds...if u get in a massive fight and u both lose ur armies...its gg...the other two races cant recover...thats the magic of zerg...u can keep throwing units at them till u win...also...cracklings are the best harrass...and dont forget infesters at the mineral line...thats just mean
