you can buy the sp component or persistent universe component seperately for $45, or pay an extra $15 to get everything. this is a good deal and a good move. some gamersonly play sp campaigns while others are more interested in co-op and mp.

The game is broken as shit. The installer is busted and creates an invisible folder for me with no shortcut to the launcher anywhere on my PC. The only way to launch it is directly after installing it which leads to the next problem, a huge green box goes through my screen. On top of that the game stutters and skips around like nuts. It worked months ago and now it's screwed. Never seen anything this bad in my life. Arkham Knight seemed flawless in comparison.

yeah, i'm worried about it too. i was thinking that i need to complete all my backlog before it's released, so i don't ever have to play anything else anymore :D

@saintsatan wot? no such problems for me. the skipping/lagging IS happening in the Mini Universe, since the netcode and servers are pretty much in test phase atm. the Arena Commander runs butter smooth for me at high settings. you are calling an early alpha "broken as shit"? no shit? i thought YOU out of anyone on these forums would understand what early alpha means... dude, seriously.

Arkham Knight was a finished game, Star Citizen isn't even in the early stages of beta yet.

Maybe instead of complaining about it, you send information about it (like we are encouraged to do) to the developer and maybe they fix the problem in the next few updates. Part of the fun about partaking in the development of a game is helping fix it :)

lol, true. Let me rephrase that: Arkham Knight was released under the guise of a finished game, and thus was expected to be complete and without the large amount of game-breaking bugs it, in fact, had.

*I only ask b/c I was going to either buy the Cities Skylines expansion (which I heard is kind of pointless, but dammit I love that game!) or the Elite expansion/2nd season thing, which I've heard very little about.

Elite is great but I couldn't get into it, but I'm always looking for excuses to try it again.
