I think i'll start off with a slaughter everything type. and if i decide to make another, i'll take a different route and be the peaceloving democracy type with a galaxy full of allies.
I'll play like the Borg. Forcefully integrate every other race into our culture and destroy all that resist. :P Failing that, like the Hierarchy from Universe at War. Travel from planet to planet stripping it of resources (and life) and move on. (and just for an extra 'we're done here' effect, use the planet buster to destroy it)
I plan to play this game through many times though. It's exciting just to think of the possibilities.
Ofc I'm sure they will add some great Mods dont ya think? will make the game exp even better + think SPORE II with Online "inviting ure friends to ure world like fable 2:P"
Haha yeah like animal crossing... It would be kinda different if they made it like an MMO almost, where every player gets a planet... and you can go "hunting" on others if you're in the space mode

Probably "part packs" or something, knowing how the Sims went. I think the foliage and the tribal hut editors are not being released with the retail product, so they may release them at a later date or something.
I'm definitely gonna build up my race to be the strong silent type. They'll grow quietly in the corner of the universe and from there move on to wipe out galaxies planet by planet leaving them barren for another race to grow on that planet to hunt for sport. So basically like the reapers from Mass Effect.

I'm totally stealing this idea for when I get the game :P
But yea, the number of ways that (hopefully) we'll be able to play the game is great. Allows for a tonne of imagination in strategy, and also for very, very long replayability.
Well if you are going to go on a killing spree, you better make sure your civilisation is the biggest and most advanced or you are going to get annihilated the first fight you pick
