Sony Bravia with sound but no picture.

This morning I woke up to find my 32 in Sony Bravia no longer has a picture. Audio works fine. I tried multiple inputs, but Im still only getting audio. About a week ago, along the right side of the TV i started to get a vertical discoloration. It was onyl present when certain colors appeared on the TV. The model number is KDL-32L4000. Im asking because my uncle is going to give me the name of an electronics repair place, but Im wondering if its even worth it.

Forgot to mention, when I first turn it on, I get a picture for about half a second, but it immediately cuts out.

If it's still under warranty take that sum' beetch back to the market...

When and where was it purchased? I'd definitely contact the seller you bought it from or Sony if it is under warranty still before taking it to a shanty repair shop.

No, its over 2 years old now. Im going to call a couple repair places tomorrow, but I have already found a new TV to replace it.
