Hey everyone.

Just wanted to know what everyone uses or if there was some software which monitored the temperature of the CPU, GPU, Hard Drives etc. and then alerted the user if they went over a threshold ?

I have SPECCY installed which shows the temps in an easy to read GUI, but I don't think it has automatic alerting for high temps.

Thanks.

You can set RealTemp to make alerts, I also use Speccy for MOBO and HDD temps, mid gaming I use MSI Afterburner to see temps live

I go real time with afterburner...fps/gpu temp/cpu temp...and I run a slew of other things, but don't display them in game.

Afterburner/HW monitor. Don't really need to to be honest, GPU is semi passive and barely ever spins up and CPU struggles to hit 60c.

Right? As if the comment itself wasn't obvious enough just look at his posts.

@stormblessed77:

The dude is using freeware speccy and was given a half dozen other freeware options, so do you really think your "$50 A PIECE, so 150$ total priced triple external device spam" ever stood a chance at being what he was looking for?

The cool thing to do would be to send him one, for free, and then if he likes it he can post about it and the guy that gave it to him. Right? I bet one post from someone with his standing here would get a hundred+ times more eyes on your product than you ever will here. "Blessed are those who giveth 77 away before the storm" Doesn't that just say it all? :)
