So I cant decide which game I should buy next. Can you guys help me deciding between these two based on a couple of factors; gameplay, gunplay, story atmosphere, length, visuals and sound.
Pls vote only if u have played both.

So far every1 in this thread has written about singularity being the best purchase, yet the poll shows otherwise O_o. I voted singularity. Bigsteve3570
cuz 99.9% pc gamer's rig got no chance to play metro2033 on decent setting, while 80% of them can run singularity flawlessly, if all players able to play both game at max setting then, no competition, the poll should be 100% to 0% favor metro2033. though singularity is a decent game.
I voted for metro2033 of course, and I'm very disappointed the poll is getting so close.
bOTH ARE EQUALLY good imo (on pc/laptop...dunno about the console-versions).
metro is a bit on the short-side though and has 2 endings, singularity is longer and has 3 endings.
anyway ,
get both , cuz they are THAT good.
I just started playing Singularity, but I feel I can judge it fairly,
I voted for Singularity because it is easier to get into i feel, both are a bit spooky (not scary, just more than say MW2). Singularity feels a bit like Bioshock, but that is because of tthe unreal engine so I don't knock it for that.
I'd say get singularity now and if you have played STALKER and liked it, get Metro 2033 too
lol, well we cant take that seriously since metro is much better optimized than singularity. Sure you can max singularity easier, but it has no effects to turn on or even aa. Singularity maxed equals metro on low, metro on low runs at 120 fps for me.I voted Singularity because Metro 2033 is sooooo badly optimized.

what are you talking about, metro on normal is fantastic, high and very high is mostly just extra effects. Its sad that people have to max a game and cant appreciate scalability and support for top end hardware.lol, well we cant take that seriously since metro is much better optimized than singularity. Singularity is unoptimized in comparison. you dont just max a game, see how it runs then decide its unoptimized if you cant run it. Theres something called scalability, singularity is stuck on low with no options at all.[QUOTE="nikola96"]

Its sad that people have to max a game and cant appreciate scalability and support for top end hardware. While I agree metro looked unbelievable throughout low to very high, but those "little extra effect" you talk about were able to build a whole new atmosphere and almost make a new game, I played this game 3 times on 3 different rigs so i think I can judge that better than you do.
and if you have read, I did give my full support to metro2033, it's definitely 1 of the best PC game I played since crysis. judging both game at max setting, singularity is very good, but metro in comparison is a much better game.
I would say metro 2033 personally. A much deeper (And more plausible) sotry line with incredibly atmopsheric details and characteristics/.
Ok thnx for the input guys, Ill eventually get both I guess, but Ill start with the cheapest as soon asIm done with Assassins Creed 2.
On another topic, how "unoptimized" is Metro. Will my rig with Ati 5870 GPU, c2d e8400 @ 3gHz CPU, 4gb pc-8500 Ram run this game well (1080p, high or above settings with dx10-11)???
Id say everything but dx11, those dx11 effects are gpu killers.Ok thnx for the input guys, Ill eventually get both I guess, but Ill start with the cheapest as soon asIm done with Assassins Creed 2.
